Emrys Systems works across two fronts, kept deliberately separate. Our Engineering Consultancy takes on Electronics, Naval Architecture and Mechanical Engineering work for clients in any sector — Defence, Maritime, Aerospace, Industrial. Our Research & Development is our own line: dual-use platforms we design, build and own, from wearable situational awareness to intelligent power and sensing. All of it designed, manufactured and operated in the UK.
15+ years of electronics engineering experience and a PhD in Electronics and Communications. Was project/lead electronics engineer for the £3.2M Cyber-SHIP Lab, is a named co-inventor on a patent, and received a commendation from the Rear Admiral of the US Coast Guard.
Mechanical engineer with 10+ years across defence and maritime engineering, from submarine design to autonomous underwater systems R&D. Co-developed a patented propulsion system and represented City College Plymouth at Buckingham Palace in recognition of its contribution to marine autonomy.
