SonaSphere

A spherical AUV built to be dropped from the air, in numbers.

Roadmap

SonaSphere is an air-deployed, spherical autonomous underwater vehicle designed for mass deployment — each unit capable of independent mission execution, with swarm capability across multiple units deployed simultaneously.

Problem solvedMass-deploying and recovering autonomous underwater vehicles from the air is still a largely unsolved logistics problem, limiting how much ocean can realistically be covered in a single mission.
Key innovationA spherical form factor purpose-built for aerial deployment, paired with autonomous, swarm-capable operation using the Emrys Sensor Suite for navigation and SatCom backhaul.
Target marketsRoyal Navy, NATO, oceanographic research institutions, marine survey companies.
StatusWhitepaper in development. Development is formally deferred until the founding team's non-compete period has elapsed and legal clearance is confirmed.
Key milestoneTargeting the projected USD 8.72 billion UUV market by 2030.
Revenue modelGovernment procurement and scientific market sales from Year 2 onward.
